The Language and Behavior Center was created with employees at the center of our mission. We're committed to fostering an environment where our clinicians are supported and valued for their unique contributions.

To highlight this mission, we've made it a priority to offer competitive benefits and truly invest in our employees at every level of the organization. This means supporting employees that are in college with our tuition reimbursement program, as well as our employees that are new parents with our Paid Family Leave policy. We offer health, vision, and dental insurance along with a large match for our 401(k) plan. Our supervisors receive a monthly health & wellness stipend while our RBTs receive monthly materials reimbursement. Most recently, we've added cancellation pay to better address scheduling inconsistencies that arise with in-home ABA sessions

In addition to our benefits, we offer comprehensive support to our newly hired staff through weekly new hire meetings, monthly staff meetings, and frequent staff outings.

We enjoy offering CEUs on less traditional topics, such as providing Compassionate Care, how to develop anti-ableist programming, and what it means to be a child-led center.

FOR SEVERAL IN-HOME AND CENTER-BASED POSITIONS
Board Certified Behavior Analysts
At TLBC, BCBAs are provided a solid foundation of competitive pay, comprehensive benefits, and a collaborative team while also being empowered to pursue their individual passions within the field. TLBC focuses on creating a supportive working environment for all staff and encourages its BCBAs to continue their professional development paths and seek leadership opportunities within TLBC.
Registered Behavior Technicians
RBTs are essential for the work that we do at TLBC. RBTs work directly with our clients and implement treatment plans developed by our BCBAs. TLBC provides exceptional benefits for our full-time RBT that include health insurance, paid time off, a company matched 401k, cancellation pay, and mileage reimbursement. We also have a mentorship program for new RBTs and monthly get-togethers to foster a social environment. At TLBC, RBTs have access to materials, games, and books to bring to their sessions. Further development of our RBTs is central to the work that we do, which is why they meet frequently with their BCBAs and attend monthly trainings.
Speech Language Pathologists
At TLBC, we creative a supportive environment for our Speech Therapists, so they can focus on the clients. SLPs work one-on-one with clients as well as support in our social skills groups and consult with ABA cases. At TLBC, SLPs also have access to assessments, materials, games, and books to bring to their sessions.
Occupational Therapists
Our OTs are an essential part of our client's treatment team! OTs work in collaboration with SLPs, BCBAs, and RBTs to create a comprehensive plan of care for each child. OTs work in our Silver Spring Center and have access to a range of assessments and materials to ensure each session runs smoothly!
